Frame Capture is designed to process videos directly on your device.
We do not collect, store, upload, or share your personal videos, extracted frames, or media files.
The app may access:
- Videos selected by you from your device
- Storage access required to save extracted frames
- App settings stored locally on your device
All video processing happens locally on your device.
Advertising
Frame Capture is a free app supported by ads. We use Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK).
These services may collect certain non-personal information to provide relevant ads, including:
- Device information
- Advertising ID
- App interaction data
- Ad and diagnostics signals (as provided by the ad SDK)
- Approximate location (if provided by ad services)

Frame Capture stores:

Media Access
Frame Capture requests access to your media only for:

- Extracting frames
- Saving exported images
Saved frames are stored in your device gallery (typically Pictures/FrameCapture). You can delete them anytime.
We do not upload or transmit your media files.
Permissions
We don’t access media unless you use features like saved frames/gallery.
Android 13+: show/load saved frames and access MediaStore images.
Up to Android 12 (maxSdk 32): read saved frames on older devices.
Up to Android 9 (maxSdk 28): saving frames on older Android versions.
Feedback & Support
If you send feedback through the app, your email app may open with your message. Information you provide voluntarily through email may include:
- Your feedback message
- Device information included for troubleshooting
- Email address provided by your email client
